"I will always come back to this place for anything, the food is beautiful and the whole atmosphere and decorations are amazing! The staff are lovely and friendly and will always have a conversation with you. They accommodate dogs too which is brilliant as being near a common dog walking area!"

"I have been to Janies numerous times including at their previous home at Parbold. The food is always so fresh and tasty. My favourite has to be the cheese on toast which is so good! I love the decor which is very tastefully done too. It's a lovely addition to Burscough and in a great location."

"A lovely little cafe in the heart of Parbold. The poached eggs and avocado are divine, as are the home-made cakes. I now go to see which glorious teapot I’ll get next. I’ve taken my two young daughters so would also recommend to families."

"Always try to go to Janies at least once a week , managed to go 2 days on the trot this week ,the best addition to the village in a long time , just off the main A59 through the village , food was excellent, as it always is , service was impeccable and the friendly greeting to every single customer was welcome, brilliant ,you might have to wait but it was so worth it"

"I dropped into the Tea Room for a breakfast and was a little surprised at the relatively high price but I have to say, it was worth every penny. Everything on the plate was cooked properly (a very rare thing to see) and served hot (again, rare) but the biggest piece of the jigsaw was the charming and friendly manner with which the staff greeted and served their customers (more like friends really) and you could tell this was natural. A great experience and will be back...."
